They are ready to lead you through eight (8) 12 x 12 pages, which consist of 4 single 12x12 page layouts & 2 double 12x12 page layouts. No holding back here, these girls have got talent and you will be amazed at the new techniques and ideas you leave class with. Silhouette Beginners

Are you feeling intimidated with all the features of your Silhouette? Or is it still setting on your desk and find yourself continually saying I will read the instructions later? No matter what level of comfort you find yourself in, you will not want to miss this class! Join our guest instructor, Marsha as she helps simplify and remove any fears you may have when it comes to learning and using your Silhouette cutting machine. Before leaving class, you will become the master of your Silhouette and unleash the creativity this machine offers! Please note: This is a workshop length class with hands on instruction limited to 8 students. Bring your laptop, Silhouette, cutting mat and blade to class. Prior to attending class be sure to download the newest software for your Silhouette on your laptop. You will leave class with several designs you have cut & a completed card. Also please download the following designs: 2_cute_love_birds and blossoms_C00004_27011. Marsha is available to assist you with downloading your software prior to class. Introduction to Stamping

There seems to be a wealth of stamping products everywhere you look and although it looks simple enough, it can be quite intimidating in choosing the right products for a beginner.  Join Cheryl as she teaches you about the types of inks, papers, and stamping tools available on the market today.  Learn techniques of stamping such as embossing, omission, resist, and masking.  With the skills you learn in this class you will be a stamping pro in no time.  You will leave the class with instructional sheets containing a wealth of information about inks, papers, stamps, and how to care for your stamping products, along with a 12-page tag booklet with labeled samples of all the techniques you have learned in class. Please note: A glue stick will be provided, or you may bring favorite adhesive.

Copic Beyond the Basics – Summer Flowers

Love flowers? Know someone special who does? Capture the beauty that the height of summer brings in this class featuring the beautiful floral images of Serendipity Stamps! Participants will work with bright summer colors in the copic color palette. We’ll learn highlighting, shading and aura techniques to make these flowers pop to perfection! Participants will complete their images into two cards with two additional images to take home.

Please note: This workshop length class is limited to 8 participants to offer more personal tutoring and assistance with Kimm. This class is suitable for any copic user who has attended the Intro to Copic class or equivalent. A list of Copic markers used will be available before class.

Memory Box Watercolor

This fun class teaches watercolor through watercolor paints and watercolor pencils. Learn the advantages of each watercolor media and get some helpful tips for applying watercolor to greeting cards with washes and blending techniques. Each student will create 4 cards featuring the new Memory Box winter stamp collection in an informative and supportive teaching style. Students should bring: bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer, favorite adhesive and Twinkling H2Os in the following colors (if you have them): Ginger Peach, Sunflower, Ocean Wave, Olive Vine and Ruby Red.

Memory Box Colored Pencils

Come and learn about color, blending and shading while using the latest Memory Box images and papers. Each student will make 4 cards using colored pencil techniques that will make you color like a pro. Plus, we'll add texture and dimension to the cards with the artful addition of Flower Soft. Students should bring: bone folder, embossing stylus tool, Prismacolor Pencils (White, Crimson Lake, Celadon Green, Dark Green, Carmine Red and Orange), scissors, favorite adhesive.

Bookbinding Basics

Sunday, August 22 at 2:00 PM -- $30

Whether you're a novice or a self-taught bookmaker, you are bound to learn something new in this class. We will complete 2 books that you can decorate at home. These books will incorporate two proper accordion fold techniques, basic sewing methods, hard and soft-bound covers and the proper terminology of bookmaking. These books feature new papers from the Memory Box What's in the Box release. Students should bring: awl, bone folder, scissors, glue stick, pencil, ruler and a mouse pad/cutting mat.

Scrapbooking 101

Are you intrigued by the scrapbooking phenomena? Do you want to see if it is right for you before you take the plunge? This class offers everything you need to know to get started scrapbooking. This class covers the basics – tools, adhesives, albums, etc. We will let you test drive different tools and adhesives so you can make an informed decision when you invest in the things you need to make your memories last forever. Looking for something your children can do with you? This is the perfect craft to share with your children. With adult supervision your children (ages 6+) can learn along with you and make their first 12x12 layout as well. Please note: Bring 4-6 photos of any one event or theme and we’ll walk you through your first 12x12 layout.

Flower Power 2: A Paper Flower Technique Class – All New Projects!

You asked for it! Alissa's original Flower Power technique was such a hit you wanted more! If you're at all crafty, you don't want to miss this fabulous technique class. Alissa will teach you how to create another EIGHT new flowers (all different from the original class), all from scratch, all from paper. There are so many uses for these beauties - from cards to scrapbook pages to home decor. You'll walk away from class with eight completed coordinating flowers, detailed instructions and color photographs of the flowers so you can recreate them at home whenever you want. In addition to your basic tool kit, please bring an assortment of glue dots (mini & medium/craft), a strong holding, quick drying liquid adhesive (like Scrappy Glue), chestnut roan chalk ink and an edge distresser if you have one (such as the one made by Heidi Swapp or Making Memories).
